Ramachandrapuram (Telugu: రామచంద్రాపురము) is a village and a municipality in East Godavari district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located about 20 km from Kakinada and about 10 km from Mandapeta. The famous temple of Lord Shiva at Draksharamam is located about 5 km from here. The present MLA of this constituency is Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose from Hasanbada ( 2004 to 2009 and 2009–present).

1. Krittiventi Perraju Pantulu National School is more than 100 years old, which was established from the donations given by Krittiventi Perraju Pantulu.

2. In the year 1966 popular congress leader Vundavilli Satyanarayana Murty (Rayavaram Munsiff)collected donations from many people and established VSM College. At the time of establishment, it was called as "Ramachandrapuram College", which was later rechristened as VSM college. VSM college offers a number of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. It recently started engineering courses also.
